Mission Team News:
This team, whose deployment will be in June, will consist of dental and medical practitioners who will be serving in the Capital, Bujumbura, and in Nyembuye a remote village community near Rutana in the Matana Province.
Mission International will be sending a number of teams to different parts of the developing world during 2017. The team, travelling in July & August, will be involved in evangelism, schools, medical and project work. Mission International’s Haiti project is now well underway. The land has been purchased and the demolition work is being done which will allow for the foundations to be set in the near future. The team will help encourage the church and will report on the progress of the building work.
India & Myanmar:
Hugh Henderson, Mission International’s CEO has been invited to visit India and Myanmar to view the partner projects there and to help support and encourage church leaders.

Living below the line!
Peter ‘lived below the line’ (lived on £1.00 per day) for a week and raised £1,137.80 for Mission International’s Kenya Projects. The picture shows Kayole township where Peter spent some time as part of a Mission International team. Here he met some of the children for whom he lived below the line.

A recent mission team carried consignments of baby vests which were distributed to local midwives and will be given to needy newborns as they arrive in this world.

Wedding in Uganda:
Recently, during November 2015, Hugh Henderson, Mission International’s CEO, travelled to Uganda to attend the wedding of Nelson & Florence Kabanda. Nelson was the first person Hugh had rescued in 1996 after a very serious road accident. After a long time in hospital Nelson went to school then university having some sponsorship and is now a senior accountant with a large multi-national in Kampala.
All of us at Mission International wish the happy couple well for their future life together.

Container arrives in Burundi!
Thank you to everyone who helped source, store, load, pack and transport the container, to those who donated items and to those who prayed for its safe arrival. We thank God for all that is in the container, every item will bring releif to people in great need.
