Dr Patient (pronounced passion) is a young doctor in Burundi. He is married with a small family, he is bright and very committed to serving his people. His dream is to become a surgeon and so he has received sponsorship from Mission International donors and supporters. His training costs are high and so there is need for other supporters to come along side those who are already involved so that he can complete his training and begin to practice in support of those in great need.
Dr Patient has served alongside Mission International’s Mission Medics teams in recent years and, since there are very few dentists in Burundi, has been trained by skilled trainers to carry out emergency dentistry work. He now treats some of the world’s poorest people, giving them necessary emergency dental care.
