Local Volunteers:

Mission International is seeking volunteers to serve as fundraisers and for those who can become part of our office team.

Fundraisers:

Mission International would like to recruit fundraisers from across the UK who are willing to volunteer their time and energy to raise funding in their local area for the work of Mission International.   If you would like to know more, please get in touch with us.

Professional Fundraiser:

Mission International requires the skills of a professional (skilled/experienced) fundraiser to assist in their fundraising activities.   The position would entail an element of training for local volunteer fundraisers as well as involvement in fundraising for the organisation.

Medium/Long-Term Opportunities:

Mission International can connect the right person holding the appropriate skills with a project in the developing world.  Candidates should be able to self-manage as well as serve as part of a team.

Connect Youth Coordinator

Dundee YFC | SCO44896 in partnership with Menzieshill Parish Church of Scotland

£6800per annum, 10 hours per week – fixed term 1 year with possibility of extension.

Connect Youth is a Saturday evening out-reach Youth Cafe that runs from 7.30pm – 9pm during school term time. Connect Youth started in 2013 with one youngster and began to take off very quickly with an average of thirty local teenagers attending on a Saturday evening. Having had a break for the last year we have decided to get up and running again in 2017, putting in place a more structured format which will be facilitated by a coordinator The age group for connect Youth is primarily p7-s2.

Dundee YFC works to support local churches in developing sustainable outreach to young people in communities in Dundee. Our aims are:-

Local churches will be better supported in engaging with young people in their communities.

Young people will be supported and encouraged to become active and engaged members of their community, encouraging active participation in community life and social responsibility.

Young people will become active participants in the mission of the local church.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person to take the lead coordinating Connect Youth.

It is essential that the applicant for the post will have a Christian commitment.  It is essential that he/she will uphold our Christian ethos.

This requirement is a Genuine Occupational requirement in terms of the Employment Equality (Religion and Belief) Regulations 2003.
